About the Workers
for Jesus Workers For Jesus are volunteers from many different Christian churches
working
together to promote love and friendship among the people of the world.
We believe
that faith in our Lord Jesus Christ must be accompanied by works. Workers For Jesus is a non-denominational, non-profit
Christian organization
incorporated in the state of Ohio and recognized by the United States
government as
a tax-exempt organization. Workers For Jesus was founded by Polly
Griffin, a
registered nurse, in 1981. Her family serves as the Board of Trustees. Statement of faith: We believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only begotten son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen
