The Book of Zechariah
Zechariah 1 - 6
Zechariah
tells the Israelites to turn back to the Lord.
Zechariah has several
visions: horses and riders, 4 horns,
a man with a measuring line,
Joshua and Satan, Zerubabel, a lampstand, olive trees, a flying scroll,
a woman in a basket, 4 horses pulling a chariot, and rebuilding God's
temple.
Zechariah 7 - 10
The people ask questions about eating and
fasting.
The Lord promises that Jerusalem will be His
city again.
The Lord tells the Israelites to celebrate.
The Lord will defeat
Israel's enemies.
Israel's
King is coming.
Israel will be strong again.
