Mark 1 -3
John baptizes Jesus in the Jordan River.
Satan tempts Jesus in the wilderness for 40 days.
Jesus becomes famous throughout the area.
Jesus chooses His 12 apostles.
The Jewish leaders are suspicious of Jesus.
Large crowds follow Jesus, and He heals many people.
Mark 4 - 6
Jesus' tells 2 parables about planting seeds.
Jesus sends evil spirits out of a man and into a herd of pigs.
Jesus heals Jairus' daughter and a woman who touches His clothes is
healed.
Jesus goes home to Nazareth and some of the people reject
Him.
John the Baptist is killed.
Jesus feeds 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.
Mark 7 - 9
Jesus explains more about clean and unclean.
Jesus feeds 4,000 people with 7 loaves of bread and a few
small fish.
A Greek woman asks Jesus to heal her daughter.
Jesus tells about His suffering and death.
The disciples argue about which one of them is the greatest.
Mark 10 -12
Jesus talks about marriage and divorce.
A rich young man asks how he can live forever.
Jesus tells His disciples that He will be killed in Jerusalem.
Jesus goes into Jerusalem, and the crowds welcome Him.
Jesus drives the moneychangers out of the temple.
A poor widow donates all of her money to the temple.
Mark 13 - 16
Jesus tells His disciples about the end
times.
A woman pours expensive ointment on Jesus' head.
Jesus makes plans to betray Jesus to the Jews.
Jesus and His disciples celebrate the first
Lord's Supper
Jesus is arrested and taken to Pilate.
Jesus is hung on a cross and crucified.
On Sunday, Jesus is alive again.
