Jeremiah 1-4 God tells Jeremiah that He will tell him what to say. Jeremiah is not sure he is capable, but God convinces him. God tells Jeremiah that evil will come from the north. God compares the people in Israel and Judah to a wife who is unfaithful. God wants Israel and Judah to come back to Him. |

27 - 30 God warns the people to submit to Nebuchadnezzar. Jeremiah confronts Hananiah and accuses him of lying. Jeremiah writes a letter to the people exiled in Babylon. God tells Jeremiah about the future when He will bring the Israelites back to their land. |

Jeremiah 5-7 God tells Jeremiah to look for at least one good person in Jerusalem. God tells Jeremiah how He will punish Jerusalem. God warns that evil is coming from the north. The Lord tells Jeremiah to speak from the Temple gate. |
Jeremiah 31 - 34 The people will have joy again when they return to Israel. Jeremiah is put into prison, and the Lord tells him to buy a field. The Lord tells Jeremiah that Israel will be restored. The Lord tells Jeremiah a prophecy about King Zedekiah. The people break their promise about owning Hebrew slaves. |

Jeremiah 8 - 10 The Lord tells Jeremiah how He will destroy Jerusalem. Jeremiah feels great sadness for his people. The Lord tells Jeremiah that his people lie. Jeremiah tells the people what God has said. Jeremiah praises God's goodness. |
Jeremiah 35 - 38 God tests the people called the Rechabites to teach the Israelites a lesson. The Lord tells Jeremiah to write down everything He has told him. The scribe reads Jeremiah's scroll, and then the king burns it. A man named Benjamin accuses Jeremiah of joining the Chaldeans. Jeremiah is put into a dry well. |

Jeremiah 11 - 14 God tells Jeremiah that Judah has broken its covenant with Him. Jeremiah asks God about why evil people prosper. The example of linen shorts. A drought in the land. The Lord tells Jeremiah that the people are listening to prophets who lie. Jeremiah prays to God to forgive Judah's sins against Him. |
Jeremiah 39 - 42 Nebuchadnezzar's army attacks and destroys Jerusalem. The Lord gives Jeremiah a message for a man from Ethiopia. Jeremiah is set free. The governor of Judah, Gedaliah, is murdered. The group of people left in Judah asks for God's word about leaving. |

Jeremiah 15-18 God says He will punish the people in Jerusalem. God says He will keep Jeremiah safe. God talks about the enemy that is coming. God tells how He will punish Judah. 43 - 46 The people think Jeremiah is lying. The Lord speaks abut the Jews who were living in Egypt. The Lord promises that Baruch will live. Prophecies about Egypt and Israel. |

Jeremiah 19 - 22 Jeremiah breaks a pottery jar to show how God will destroy Judah. Pashur captures Jeremiah and puts him in stocks (jail). Jeremiah complains to God. King Zedekiah asks the Lord if He will help Judah fight the Chaldeans. The Lord speaks about the kings of Judah. |
