Krousar Thmey Deaf Schools

The Krousar Thmey Deaf Schools were opened by the NGO with the same name. The name "Krousar Thmey" means "new family". Krousar Thmye is located in the city of Phnom Penh and was established by a man from France named Benôit Duchateau-Arminjon. Krousar Thmey also operates schools for blind children.

There are four Krousar Thmey schools for deaf children. There are a total of 710 students in these schools. The students learn sign language, traditional school subjects, dance, and rhythm.

They plan to start job training courses in the future.
