Rocky Mountain Deaf School (RMDS) was started in 1997. The school provides a bilingual education for deaf and hard of hearing students. This means that the students learn 2 languages: American Sign Language and English. The school has about 60 students and currently is located in a temporary location. They are working hard to raise money so they can build a new school.

RMDS is in the city of Golden in the state of Colorado. The beautiful Rocky Mountains are near.
