BURKINA-FASO

Letter

It is a pleasure to tell you the details about the situation in our country and that of the hearing impaired and their living conditions. My country is in Africa and isolated. Burkino-Faso is one of the poorest countries in Africa. Briefly, it is an underdeveloped country in a world where all infrastructures are undergoing development. It is in this miserable society that after much reflection we decided to found an organization named the Association of Deaf Activists of Faso (Association des Sourds Conscients du Faso, A.S.C.F), whose mission is to overcome these obstacles. We are loaded with talent and full of hope that deaf people will be able to achieve their full potential, as right now they are marginalized  and cut off from the rest of society. In a word, they are abandoned and deprived of freedom. Here are some photos of us, members of my organization. I take my leave of you now with these words and my fondest wishes, and hope to hear from you soon

My sincerest thanks

Ouedraogo issouf

Secretary General of the A.S.C.F
