Narowal is a very small area which is located near the Pak-Indo Border and is a remote area. The government is not interested in developing the area because Pakistan does not have cordial relation with Indian due to Kashmir dispute therefore all the resources of the state are being used for other areas. However, the land is very fertile and Rice is being produced from Narowal which is of Export quality. On the other hand there is not industry in our area and people have to earn their living by cultivation and by working out side the area in order to earn money.

Moreover, there is a large number of Deaf Community living in our area, but Narowal being a remote area no facilities of treatment and support is available for the deaf community. There are no hospitals or educating centre available in the area for their assistance which has made the lives of the deaf miserable and to get treatment and help they have to travel 100 to 200-Kms to other cities which proof to be very expensive for them.

Public Welfare Foundation is a very small organization and does not have enough funds to help or provide support to deaf community but is very positive to do something for them so that there problems can be solved. We are willing to start a Rehabilitation Program for the deaf community in which they will be provided treatment and hearing aid equipments which will help them a lot . We welcome anyone who would like to help us in starting this useful and needed project.
