Hello

I am Armine Baghdasaryan. I  live in Republic of Armenia, with my parents. I am Hard of Hearing.  I am  an artist . I don't work, because in Armenia deaf and hard of hearing persons are isolated from "majority" as they haven't equal access. I earn if I can sell my art works. The main aim of my life is to find my own way of self expression: to be  a person who is able to be independent. That's my great dream..

I  created drawings about human, especially woman psychological situations and feelings.

When I was attending secondary school with hearing children,  all my classmates and teachers in class first regarded discrimination. They were pity to me, maybe they were thinking that I can do nothing with my Hard of Hearing. But when they saw my paintings,  my originally paintings became center attention of my teachers and classmates. My art teacher said that I will become famous Artist in the world. With my talent I've changed their attitude to me.

Because I am Hard of Hearing, I have had no hope that I should receive art education. Thanks to my talent in art,  I've entered art college. I feel myself strong, and my soul is piece. With my art works I tell people that though I am disabled, I am talented.  My hearing disabilities affect  my art works, in my silent world I am emotional and I see such colors in my internal world which I would like to see in the real world.
