Hi everyone!

That's me in the photo! Matthieu Gaboriau. I'm 22 years old and I was born in France. I've been hearing impaired since birth and have had a hearing aid since I was 2. I can speak very well, like everyone else, but I don't know sign language. In school I was always integrated with hearing students until classe de seconde [junior high]. I've rarely been around deaf people and I have trouble communicating with them. I work for a temporary employment agency and I have my own apartment.

I like women very much and I respect them a great deal. It disgusts me when I hear or read about girls on television or in the newspapers who've been abducted, raped, killed, and even filmed. I feel that if men do these things, if they take their desires for reality, whether for money, whether they're hooked on porno, that they are sick. We are living in a world of unheard of violence. 

Fortunately, life also has its good sides. I also love nature, animals, and traveling. There are superb places in all parts of the world and I hope that one day I will be able to travel around the whole world and get to know the cultures, the climate zones, the animals and plants, all the wonders that I hope will never disappear!

I hope that others think the way I do or differently, but anyway, I'd like very much to hear your opinion. Don't hesitate to write and send me your photos!
