My name is Pastor Kamonyo Botanyi. I am completely deaf and age 40. I am the 8th children of 11 (4 girls and 7 boys). I am married to Béatrice Mulamba who is deaf, too.

I live in "République Démocratique du Congo". Our city has known many troubles due to the war. I am pastor for deaf people and also director of a center for deaf people called "CENTRE ESPOIR" (="HOPE CENTER"). Our school has 165 students. In the church we have 120 people coming to pray every Sunday. We have 3 parishes. We preach in sign language.
