Dear Friends,

I am a deaf girl from Cameroon. I am a secondary school student, but I quit a year ago. I want to look for a job as a worker in the various social services. My family consists of my parents, my two brothers and 3 sisters, all of whom can hear, and myself. I like going to school, however, I got impatient with the teachers who could hear because of the lack of communication, and also there are no interpreters, that's why I quit. I have lots of friends, male and female, hearing and deaf, because I meet them in many different places: elementary and secondary school, bars, movies, etc. I like to read many kinds of novels and I enjoy music to dance to and watching TV. I am a Catholic and I like going out with my all of my Christian friends, both hearing and deaf, male and female, and I go to church frequently, every evening I read my Bible and say my prayers. I can read and write: French and English, and I can read but not write Spanish. My favorite activities and hobbies are: tennis, volleyball, baseball and watching TV, as far as TV is concerned, I watch various African films and theater, as well as movies and basketball.
