The Matabele Deaf Organisation is a new group in Zimbabwe. Some of their goals are:

AIDS/HIV sign language education for deaf children.
Drama programs
Arranging leadership training programmes so that the deaf can take full responsibility for themselves and for other people.
Business training

Currently, they are initiating programmes of action for the social economic uplifting of its members--deaf who are keen to make a living not through begging but working hard for themselves.

They would like to share ideas with other deaf organizations.
