 EL-Shaddai Ministries
This organization provides boarding, lodging, clothing, and medical care for 9
deaf children and 15 deaf adults. They are requesting funds to help them provide hearing aids, food, clothing,
orthopedic equipment, and medical care.
Two
of the goals of EL-Shaddai Ministries are:
1. To undertake, in the name of Jesus Christ, relief work among the
poor, to provide medical and education work irrespective of caste, creed, or community.
2. To operate children's homes and homes for the elderly, needy, and
destitute.
As their inspiration, they use the Scripture:
"Invite the Poor, the Crippled, the Lame, the Blind,
and you will be blessed."

May, 2002 Update...
El-Shaddai Ministries has prayerfully planning to reach 5,000 children
including 1,000 disabled children this year-2002 through Children Bible Club
program (VBS). The vision and mission is to bring children through the
children Bible Clubs (VBS). This year our theme of CBC-2002 is MY LIFE-MY
FAMILY (Joshua: 24:15)
200 teachers were attended to this training program on 7th May 2000 at
Pithapuram from various villages. We trained them in various objects such
as " leading child to Christ, How to win the disabled children, child
psychology, teaching skills, methods & memorization, leadership, visual
aids, lesion preparation and practice". From this time the teachers will
train 5 to 10 partners and conduct ten days classes for children during this
summer. Teaching, singing, memory verse, skits, games, procession, cultural
activities, social involvement like clean and green, sanitation, education,
medical and health activities will be conducting during the classes. The follow
up of the CBC are establish junior churches and same as the above activities as
an ongoing.
Last year we have conducted a teacher-training program with 300 teachers
for 10,000 children under the theme of MY LIFE-MY CHOICE. We trained 300
teachers but the lack of insufficient funds and material we reached 50% only.
Therefore this year we reduced our plans for 5,000 children only. We have
resource persons, good material, committed volunteers, enthusiastic teachers but
no financial assistance to get the 100% results. We have a faith and insistence
to get success in this His glorious movement even we are able to expand this
program if finances provided by like you. For this cause we welcome material,
money, books and etc. throughout the year.
I hope you help to share your love and kindness with them to bring them for
Christ as you lead by Him. As you know, Indian children if will not turn to
Jesus in their childhood, never they accept. Many children in India have been
accustomed all kinds of bad habits in their childhood. This is not an easy to
conduct programs among the rural people. We used to invite the children with
food items, musical instruments and little gifts.
Pray for them and the staff who are working with me in this ministry. Pray for
the spiritual leading, the power of the father, son and the holy spirit and His
presence, strength, good whether, resource persons, food, water, electricity,
material, finances, teachers who need to be train and all the arrangements for
the CBC classes.
April, 2002 Update...
Last
Sunday we have distributed books, pens and pencils to fifty poor children and
also distributed cloths to 50 poor widows and old aged people. And also
distributed 200 Bibles in different places. Please
remember in your prayers, here is a blind student and a very good musician. He
is playing all musical instruments but he is poor. He is attending church and
plays musical instruments (leather) every meeting. He requested me that
financial assistance for a musical instrument to lead their lives. They are poor
and he is the sole supported of this family. His mother and sister are depending
up on him. The price of the musical
instrument is $ 130 US.
January, 2002
It is happy to inform you that we have conducted a praise
meeting to our childcare and Sunday school children at Pithapuram on 6th
January. More than 150 children and some of their parents attended to praise God
for His faithfulness in the previous years. Children were enjoyed very much in
this program and my wife conducted action songs, memory verses and skits in this
celebration. I have led the program and my father gave the word of God to the
Children with blessings for this New Year and we distributed gifts to the
children those who got success in sports, games and bible games and gave prizes
to regular children also. Some deaf children presented a skit and it was
attracted all the believers. We have distributed sweets to all of them at the
end of this program. I will send all these pictures via Internet as soon as
possible. I praise God for the funds provided by our degree collegiate old
friends those who are Hindus and Idol worshippers. Please pray for them and if
funds provided, we would conduct this kind of program in other churches also.
In this time I would like to request my dear Friend, kindly
think once about our childcare. We have 26 children. They need essentials. We
unable to maintain this care, if there are some sponsors for them, it is
possible to help those who are poor, needy, Orphan and disabled children. I
heard that foreign children have separate pairs of shoes and dresses for Sunday
school, but here they don't have even single pair in daily life. Please try to
understand how they are in poverty and starving for food. They have no hope on
new cloths or others but they are expecting sufficient food only. Really my
heart has been broken for these kind of Children. Oh! God show your mercy upon
them.
Thank you for reading my letter with patience. I want to
remember a story from Bible. "A man from the tribe of Levi married a woman
of his own tribe, and she bore him a son. When she saw what a beautiful Child he
was, she hid him for three months. But when she could not hide him any longer,
she took a basket made of reeds and covered it with tar to make it watertight.
She put the baby in it and then placed it in the tall gross at the edge of the
river. The baby's sister stood some distance away to see what would happen to
him.
The King's daughter came down to the river to bathe, while
her servants walked along the bank. Suddenly she noticed the basket in the tall
gross and sent a slave girl to get it. The princes opened it and saw a baby boy.
He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. Then his sister asked her, "
shall I go and call a woman to nurse the baby for you?" "Please
do" she answered. So the girl went and brought the baby's own mother. The
princes told the woman, " take this baby and nurse him for me and I will
pay you". So she took the baby ad nursed him. Later when the child was old
enough she took him to the king's daughter to adopted him as her own son.
I trust that you could understand this story. Princes
resemble you, Miriam resembles me and mother resembles our organization. Please
comprehend that the character of "Princes". Yes you are the princes.
It is true you are unable to nurse those poor, needy Orphan disabled children
who are living in India, because you are living so far but we are able, because
we close to them. If you help we will nurse for you, they are your own children.
We have a satisfaction that His vision will be fulfilled. In Mat 15:5 "And
whoever receives one little child like this in my name receives me".

Adult Literacy Program
The purpose is to start Adult Literacy Programs in order to
educate our interior villagers and Church believers to read their Bibles.
By imparting the literacy we eradicate the traditional beliefs which prevailed
in their areas. Indian people are worshipping more than 30 Million Hindu
goddess and gods. This is one of the way to reach those people through
educate and eradicate these evils and they come to know the real God and
accept Jesus as their personal Savior. The Adult Literacy program helps to
meet Spiritual, Social, and Economical needs of men and women and plant prayer
and worshipping groups. Learners, learnt read and write, do simple
mathematics, savings, health care, and awareness to address various life
issues. Learners read their Bibles in their own languages. Learners would make
decision.
· We need Books, Slates, Gas Lights, Mats, Teachers Honorarium, NT and
Bibles (Print & Electronic)
· $ 3,500 is the required project budget for 10 Adult Literacy Centers
in 10 villages for 300 illiterates. Through these centers, after completion of
the course the people will come to Jesus and worshipping center will be formed
with in a year.
Help to Children and Aged:
As the areas in which we are undertaking ministry are economically
backward. We focus our attention on the children and aged. The
Adults spend their time and energy for earning so the children and the aged
are neglected. Therefore we care for them in the matters of health,
education and shelter. Through this we could save the children from
addictions, abuse and child labor. The old are cared for and they could
spend their days in rest and peace and live in faith and prayer until their
life ends.
Poor Feeding:
When arranging Gospel meetings and disaster conditions and once in a
while we provide food for the poor. And also provide food to all in every
meeting which we are conducting regularly. Through this we could not only
share the good news but also show them the love of Christ also.
Sanitation Program:
As you know the Indian slums are too dirty and filled with
infections. Thousands of people are suffering with various viruses and
unknown diseases. Along with the Gospel we also make people aware of
cleanliness. We teach them Hygienic & Health Care (As God is Holy
God).
Sports & Games:
Youth are encouraged to show their talent and maintain good health
through various competitions we organize on special occasions. We are
attracting youth and reaching them with gospel of Christ through various
programs and providing awards and scholarships.
Cultural Activities:
In the process of building up the communities we involve people in
Cross-Cultural and culture enriching programs. This makes people to
uphold moral and cultural values and bring unity in mankind. Whenever we
conduct these programs in the rural areas we spread the Gospel through acting
songs, presenting skits, mono actions and etc. to understand illiterate
villagers.
Cloths Distribution:
Cloths are distributing to the poor particularly the aged to keep
them warm and dignified. The people are in the slums and villages; they
are not able to buy cloths for them due to their poverty. Most of the
Indians are depending on the agricultural works. But now in India there
are no works in our places and people suffering by the famine. They have
no proper cloths, shelter and even for food also.
Tailoring Training Centers:
We have recently started a Tailoring Training Institute at Chitrada
village for poor and needy disabled. The church believers and some women
are coming to this training center and learning the courses. After
finished their training they may start tailoring shops and earn their daily
bread.
· We need 5 Sewing machines to extend this ministry in this village.
Each machine will cost $250 only.
Bore well Projects
Pray for
· The people who suffering by the famine
· The essentials like food, water, clothing and proper residence for
Indian rural people
· The water problem is in some villages. Sink bore wells in the villages
where people are suffering for the water at very interior places. The people
are digging for water 300 to 600 feet. $850 is required to meet the expenses
for a bore well

Evangelism
We conduct Revival Gospel Meetings in every area of the
church ministry and having fasting prayer meetings in every
church. Our aim is to share the Gospel to the new people every
year and invite them to accept Jesus as savior. Our teams of
every church go to streets at least four days of week and share the
Gospel by singing, skits and praying for the sick. We Conduct
Cottage prayers, Praise Meetings, Prayer Cells and more programs in
all our Churches.
Church Plantation
We have 20 Pastors and working for the Lord in different
places, having their congregations. Many of them dedicated their
lives for God's work in interior rural places. Every year we train
10 dedicated young-men as church planters and send them to the field
to establish new churches where there is no church. They are
working hard by facing many problems in the areas of food, clothing,
medical care and shelter. We have thatched sheds for all of
them for church gatherings but we have a great need of construction
of church buildings.
Literature
We have a team of dedicated young people in every church
area. We buy Gospel Tracts for free distribution. The
team members take these tracts and go to people, say the Gospel by
giving them tracts freely. Sometimes we use rented Audio,
Video taps and display Christian films in public places to know and
understand the illiterate people in the rural areas about the Gospel
of Christ. Our aim is to reach people four days in a week to share
the Gospel with these tracts and to bring them to Christ. We
are organizing reading rooms, book clubs, free lending library and
free tracts distribution programs.
Conferences & Training Programs
Once in a year we conduct three days conference for
Pastors from different areas and equip them for Lord's work.
We give them new ideas of ministry and current news of Christianity
to encourage them to stand for the Lord. Every year we train 10
dedicated young men as church planters and send them to the field to
establish new churches where there is no church. We leave them
for their own due to have no sufficient resources to support
them. Also we conduct youth conferences, women retreats,
children clubs and training seminars for disabled people in various
places.
· Pastors, Evangelists and their families who are working with
El-Shaddai Ministries. We have 20 pastors and more evangelists in
our ministry and there are 55 Churches in our organization.
· Regular financial support for Pastors and evangelists. We
need to support $100/- for each pastor to his family maintenance,
cloths, Shelter and medical care etc.
· Gospel Public Crusades, Processions, Tracts Distributions,
Street Preaching and soul winning Ministry
· Equipment like Cycles, instruments, lights for Pastors and
Evangelists. $150/- are enough of the cost of above equipment for
each church and it is most important to do the ministry
effectively.
· Literature both print and electronic for free distribution.
Printed material is for literates and electronic material for
illiterate and disabled. Film ministry is very useful to reach the
Hindu public in our country.
· Construction of Church buildings. It is a great need of our
organization. Presently they are worshipping at thatched sheds,
under the trees and believers houses. Therefore only few
believers are attending to the church activities and imagine if the
rain falls. We estimate that $ 15,000/- are enough for multi model
church complex (site, construction of Church including Parsonage
with Orphanage)

Disability Outreach
Invite the Poor, the Crippled, the Lame, the Blind and you

Most of the Indians are very poor and needy. The
poor and needy families are not efficient to meet the
financial crisis to overcome the disabledness of their kit
and kin life long. The disabled persons are
suffering physically, mentally and they feel that they
have none to care for them. With the vision of
living and loving God, Our organization has taken
challengeable decision to help these disabled persons to
overcome their mental and physical agony. By
conducting free medical camps we distribute free medicine
and other materials and equipments like hearing aids, long
canes, wheel chairs, calipers will be distributed to needy
disabled persons. Through these kind of medical camps
people will be alerted for taking medical care for
themselves. Conducting medical camps are good source to
reach the hundreds of people in rural areas with the
Gospel of Christ. This organization could meet
physical and spiritual need of the people who attend the
camps. Day time medical checkup will be arranged
duly engaging medical super specialists and Gospel
meetings will be conducted in the rest and evening time in
which love of God and His salvation will be proclaimed
Pray for:
· To conduct a free medical camp we need $ 1,000/-
including medicine and all the expenses.
· Providing specific needs for the families of
physically disabled, visually, hearing, speech impaired,
mentally challenged, emotionally disorders and
economically disadvantaged. Financial Assistance for
Conduct surgeries and providing 20 Hearing aids(each $50),
100 Hand sticks (each $10), 15 Wheel chairs (each $200),
Adoptive clothing for 10 (each $ 200), 10 Calipers (each
$130) and 25 Long canes (each $20) for Blind etc.,
· Training seminars for leaders both male and female
in disability ministry ($750 are required for conducting a
seminar)
LEMIT Computer Training Institute for Disabled
Disabled persons need medical treatment, artificial limbs
and Gospel but also they need feeding. The poor and needy
Disabled people are struggling for daily food and cloths.
If they are trained in self-help projects, like a
tailoring, typing, computers technology, Pinning and etc.,
According to their physical fitness, they can earn their
own food, cloths and shelter.
we have establish A computer Training Institute in which
10 computer systems placed and giving training for 3
months, 6 months and 1 year Diploma courses and more than
150 persons can be given training in a year. In India more
than 90% people are non-Christians. Many Disable persons
came from non-Christians. Through this computer training
institute we can meet disable non-Christians with Gospel
and bring them to Christ.
By this program more than 150 disabled persons will be
training by which they can earn their daily bread and
lives will be settled. By attracting Disable persons we
will teach about Jesus Christ, His love and salvation. The
economical statuses have been strengthened and this is a
permanent process for life time betterment. We are giving
Gospel daily one hour through bible study, Quiz, praise
and worship and other programs conducting on once in week.
Also we are spreading Gospel through books, tracts and
Videos for students through our staff. 41 persons accepted
Jesus Christ as their personal savior in our 175 students.
More than 65 persons are attending worship service,
conducting at LEMIT on Sundays.
Pray for
· Students, Staff and Faculty
· Needed furniture, salaries and maintenance
expenses. The total budget of this Institute is $8,500/-
. This amount is very essential and most urgent need
to run this Institute.
· Own accommodation and 5 computer systems for
extension of the institute. The building where we are
running now is a hired building. The house owner is
announced to sale this building at $27,500 and given legal
notice to vacate this building within three months if we
do not purchase this building. This building is very
convenient for disabled and we are not in a position to
purchase this. We asked Riverside to grant this request
for this purpose but they are not yet informed whether it
approved or not. Kindly pray for this.
· Students those who recently accepted Jesus through
this Institute, for their spiritual life and proper
employment in various sectors

The percentage of Children in India is
40%. Jesus stated in Mat:18:5 "and
who ever receives one little child like this in
My name receives me". Our organization has
taken challengeable decision to help these poor,
needy, disabled orphan children to overcome
their mental and physical agony. Presently
we are conducting a Childcare center at
Pithapuram. There are 30 Children between
age range of 5 to 15 years including 8 Girls and
22 Boys in this care. There are all poor,
needy, orphan and disabled children. They
need essentials like food, clothing, education,
and medical care. Sponsors are needed to
meet the physical needs of the children in the
childcare centers
El-Shaddai Ministries is conducts Children
Bibles Schools every year in the towns and
villages in India. The vision and mission
is to bring children to Christ, establish
Children Bible Classes with Spiritual,
Educational, Social involvement and planting
Junior Churches through out India.
As Education is very important to the people, we
are planning to start primary schools where
there is no proper education and where there is
no Gospel even too. Educational
Institutions are the best source to reach the
children with word of God "Train up a child
in the way he should go, and when he is old, he
will not depart from it. We are looking
for the sources to establish schools in the
interior villages to provide both Christian and
Secular Education.
We conducting various programs to reach the
children and through the children we are
reaching their parents and through the parents
we are reaching their neighbors.
· Children need food, clothing, medical
care and education at our childcare center,
which is conducting for 30 children. We need
sponsors to meet $ 40/- monthly for each child
including all expenses. It is just a cost of an
ice cream in your country but it is enough for a
child essentials.
· Permanent accommodation for this care.
Presently they are sleeping on our church floor
and they have no mats or blankets to protect
them for cold and winter. They need used or new
cloths, soaps and shampoos for their regular
use.
· Children Bible Schools, Sunday schools
and Children processions are conducting by
organization. This year our preparation is to
reach 15000 children through VBS programs.
Please remember us in your programs and extend
your ministry to us to reach more children in
our country. We need books, colors, erasers, and
funds for training programs
· Financial Assistance for Educational
Institutions. To build and establish a school
for 500 children in a village, more than $50,000
is required including site, construction and one
year maintenance. If you are interested I
will send the detailed proposals.

Murra
Chinnodu was born and brought up in a Hindu family. “Sriramudu” was their family
Hindu God. They are all idol worshippers of sun, moon, snakes, all are
illiterates practice fasting and sacrificed animals to their Hindu goddess. He
was affected by polio in his childhood. His
parents are very poor and daily laborers and did not afford to give good
education, clothing and medical care. They
were always despising him due to his disability and they feel that he is useless
for them. He studied in government
school and stayed in social welfare hostel. The warden and other students always
ridiculing and not taken any care for him.
He completed his 10th standard education and came back to
home. He accustomed all bad habits and agonizing of his debility. Though he
lived in his own fashion and own way. He
didn’t know about Lord Jesus Christ.
