I'll write something about our trip to England. We were there from 4th June for 9 days. First of all I will compile the plan of our trip and then I'll write something about choice places in detail.

June 5-- London, Greenwich, Docklands, The Tower of London, The Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, and Hyde Park.
June 6 -- The White Horse of Uffington, Oxford and Avebury
June 7 -- Bridgwater
June 8 -- Glastonbury and Bath
June 9 -- Natural reservation Dartmoor and Plymouth
June 10 -- Wells and Taunton
June 11 -- Stonehenge, Salisbury, London: Madame Tussaud's Museum, Leicester Square
June 12 -- London: Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Tate Gallery, Houses of Parliament
June 13 -- Our way home
Greenwich -- Nearby is the majestic, 19th century Cutty Sark, the last of the "tea clipper" ships. At Greenwich is the Royal Observatory and here pass the Meridian. So the Millennium starts here.
St. Paul's Cathedral -- It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London burnt down its predecessor in 1666. St. Paul's has been the scene of many historic, national occasions and has become a symbol of endurance, particularly during World War II when it survived while many of the surrounding buildings were destroyed. The nave, transepts, and choir are in the shape of a cross, as in a medieval cathedral, but the majestic interior reflects the Baroque movement in architecture. Among its attractions are the Whispering Gallery, the Stone Gallery, and the Golden Gallery from which there are superb views.

The Tower Bridge-- It was completed in 1894. This unique piece of Victorian engineering has become an international symbol of London. |
| Dartmoor -- the mysterious, windswept hills of Devon, climbing to over 2000 feet above sea level, are a paradise for those who wish to leave the tumoil of modern civilisation behind for a time. Picturesque granite - built villages nestle in folds of the moors, such as Widecombe, made famous in song, and antiquities, hut circles and clapper bridges abound. Dartmoor ponies will be found grazing in all parts of the moor. | ![]() ![]() |

Stonehenge
- Started 5 000 years ago and built in several stages, these
extraordinary stone circles were seemingly constructed to align with the
seasons. It's Europe's most famous pre-historic monument and a world
heritage site. It is situtated about 10 miles north of Salisbury.

On the last day we saw the Queen's Official Birthday Parade. The Queen is escorted in procession from Buckingham Palace at 10:30 a. m. to Horse Guards Parade to inspect the regiments and take a salute. The Queen arrives back at Buckingham Palace at 12:30 p.m. And at 13:00 she is appearing on the balcony.
